After an initial needs assessment, protracted intensive coaching is launched during summer onboarding with a cohort of co-teachers; throughout the school year, teachers receive intensive weekly support through observations, debriefs, monthly PLCs, and quarterly stepbacks; school leaders work directly with the coach for joint observations and intervisitations to embed HQIM-aligned co-teaching practices.

Delivery method
All of our professional learning is centered around the unique capacity of the co-taught classroom to address the needs of students with learning and thinking differences and English language learners. Our collaborative approaches focus on fostering a deep awareness of student needs and generating a shared understanding of rigor within the HQIM amongst the co-teaching team in order to prioritize strategic data collection and responsiveness to student needs. -
