Who we are

We’re a nonprofit with a focus on co-teaching in inclusion settings – the approach of having multiple teachers working together with a shared outcome. We aim to support classrooms, schools, and districts to go beyond a “one teach, one assist approach” to team teaching in Special Education (SPED). We identify needs, embed enabling conditions, and co-create structures to sustain collaboration, relationship building, and data-driven instruction for every student in general education and SPED settings.

Why is this important?

This partner's approach and services

How we provide curriculum-aligned PL

Workshops

We provide pre-created and/or 'stand alone' professional development (PD) to meet the needs of a classroom, school, and school systems. We tailor our content to meet the PD outcomes of educators in key areas of SPED.

Coaching

We support teacher teams and/or instructional coaches through coaching cycles based on Blue Engine’s rubric for effective co-teaching. Cycles include but are not limited to co-planning, observations, feedback, and practice aligned to a monthly development cycle.

PLCs

We work across multiple classrooms to embed effective co-teaching practices, approaches, and mindsets within the school. We provide direct support by facilitating Communities of Practice, guiding intentional teacher collaboration, and offering strategic intensive coaching for co-teachers.

Consultations

We support schools and districts to audit and assess the current enabling conditions for effective co-teaching. We support school and district leaders to plan for development, change management, vision for implementation, and essential systems required to sustain co-teaching in inclusion settings.
