Who we are

Grounded in a research-based theory of change, the K-12 Alliance works to advance high-quality science education through professional learning and leadership development. Leveraging a network of experienced scientists and teacher leaders, we work with school systems, colleges and universities, and others to deepen understanding of shifts that result in meaningful science instruction, guide policies and practices, and implement high-quality standards-based instruction and assessment.

Long-term services

  • K-12 Alliance provides comprehensive programs to build system-wide supports, strengthen instructional practices, and deepen expertise in the adoption and ongoing implementation of HQIM. This includes multi-day programs to evaluate HQIM, institutes to launch HQIM, and year-long ongoing services designed to deepen HQIM understanding through teacher and administrative professional learning support.
